For my 100th blog post I thought it should be crafty, since that's why I started this thing to begin with.
Baby Scarlett liked her blanky so much that her mom asked me to make one for a friend who is having a little boy. I was so glad she did, I love practice. I had to go on a hunt for some boy fabric which is a little hard to find. I settled on this Amy Butler print. I traced an old baby blanket to make a pattern.
I started a photo a day project at the start of the year. I was always a few days behind, because I didn't start in earnest until after we got back from New Year's in Florida.
Well, I have taken a little over a month off now, but I am still determined to keep plugging along. I may not finish until spring time next year, but I would like to put them into a book. I think it will be a cool album.
Here is one I took on our February trip to Florida.

Change can be a good thing, but it can also knock you off your feet. I have been experiencing the knock you off your feet kind. I am hoping that eventually it will be the good kind too.
So I am leaving these bare trees behind and going on a little break. A spring break to be exact. A little sunshine just might do the trick. And judging from the little sprouts of green and yellow I am seeing pop out, maybe when I return spring will be in full bloom. A little springtime will surely be good for my soul.
And thank you thank you to all of you that have been thinking and praying for me. Every word and thought and deed has been felt and has gotten me through these rough days.
