Since I have moved, I don't have Internet yet. I am blogging from the phone which is why I just published a blank post. Bear with me.
I have been working on a super fun project. It is the project I am doing to try to get my new job. I was asked to build a box that describes this store. The words I came up with to describe this place were daring, playful, romantic and unexpected. I thought the image I would use that captured all those things was a bicycle built for 2.
I have really been inspired by the artist Devorah Sperber. I can't link from my phone but she is amazing, look her up if you haven't heard of her yet. I had all these great ideas of how to interpret what she has done on a much smaller scale, but none of those ideas worked out. Instead I took the pixelated image of the bicycle built for 2 and created this. My fingertips are very sore.
I am very happy with how this turned out and have lots of ideas for more string art. Maybe portraits of the babes. Next time I'll use thimbles for certain.
